It's finally starting to get warmer.  It's time to "Rev Up"  the race cars.  Many of the local tracks have fired them up for the season.  If you want to do or see something that'll warm your heart like the weather, check this out.

For the 3rd year, Carla Parks has organized a Race Car show for the residents of Absolut Care Nursing Facility in Endicott. This year's event will be held this Saturday from 1-3pm. The facility is located at 301 Nantucket Drive in Endicott.

Carla says "There is plenty of room, so I hope that any race teams in the area will bring their race cars for display. In the past we've also had several vintage race cars, and Street Rods will be welcomed as well. The people that live here love to go outside and see the cars," says Carla, who has been a nurse at Absolut Care for many years. "They have been asking me all winter when we would have another show."

This year's show will have a new face in the audience, as long time Shangri-la Speedway Promoter Dale Campfield now a resident at the Absolut Care facility. It's a great chance to say "Hi" to an old friend!

If you have a car to display, please arrive by noon.  The weather is supposed to be nice, so let's all help Carla make this the best show ever. You can contact her at parkscarla20@yahoo.com or 607-237-5855.
