A Whitney Point resident is accused of driving with a blood alcohol level at twice the legal limit and is under the legal drinking age after crashing a vehicle into a porch.

Broome County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 20-year-old Lee Farrow after they found a car hit a utility pole and a porch on Pendell Hill Road in the Town of Barker shortly after 11 p.m. November 29.

Authorities say Farrow was alone in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

His blood alcohol content was measured at point-one-seven percent.

Farrow is charged with driving while intoxicated with a b-a-c over point-oh-eight percent, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and reckless driving, all misdemeanors along with several vehicle and traffic law violations.

He’s been ordered to appear in Town of Barker Court at a later date.
