The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation says now that restrictions on some construction projects are easing and road works in the Keystone State resumed May 1, there are big plans for a bridge in New Milford.

PennDOT says starting Mau 4, work will be done to replace the bridge on State Route 374 over Tunkhannock Creek in Lenox Township in Susquehanna County through July.

The bridge is being closed at the intersection of State Route 92 and 374 and State Route 374 and State Route 407 for the super structure replacement.

The 15-mile detour will be in place through the completion of the project.

PennDOT says it is also replacing the super structure of the bridge over the East Branch of Tunkhannock Creek on State Route 2027 in Clifford Township in Susquehanna County.  The bridge between the intersection of State Route 2012 and 2033 is closed with a 14-mile detour in place through July.
