Are you ready for some football? Well too bad, you're going to have to wait a little bit longer. This after yesterday's (8/7) game was postponed. Why? Here's why.

It was supposed to be a big weekend with Brett Favre being inducted into the Hall of Fame. Tim McGraw performed the Concert for Legends at the new Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.

So far so good, until Sunday.

The NFL's preseason season game had to be cancelled because of poor field conditions. The Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts were supposed to kick it off but both teams were worried about the slippery conditions. No, not by rain but by paint.

That's right, the paint that was used caused the midfield logo and the end zones to be too slippery to safely play. You don't want your players out before the regular season begins.

Crews tried to fix it before the game but couldn't get it right. The game was cancelled and will not be rescheduled. Both teams hung around the stadium and hosted a fan fest type of event.
