I still have wonderful memories of going to Summer camp as a kid.  It was wonderful for me and for my parents, if you know what I mean.  Even though my childhood Summer camp was a day camp on the Southside of Binghamton, as a kid, it felt like it was a 100 miles away from home.

Broome County Parks is offering a "Nature Fun Club" Day Camp, operated by the staff of Finch Hollow Nature Center.

Half-day programs, for children who will be entering the first or second grade, will be held at the Nature Center on Oakdale Road in Johnson City.  The cost is only $40.00 for 5 mornings or 5 afternoons.  Full day programs are also offered for children entering the third, fourth, fifth, or sixth grade and will be held at Greenwood Park in the Town of Nanticoke, at a cost of $75.00.

It's a great opportunity to get out and experience nature as the programs feature, nature explorations, games, crafts and more.  If you're interested in more information, contact Finch Hollow Nature Center at (607) 729-4231.
