It's been a whirlwind year for Miranda Lambert and Sunday night 7-10 p.m., she sorts it all out with her fans on Country Countdown USA, part of a HAWK Weekend, when Miranda Lambert takes over the weekend before Thanksgiving on 98.1 The Hawk!

Miranda has some news breaking personal news on a big move she is making, as well as some creative news, writing enough songs for a 2-CD set, called The Weight of These Wings. She described the experience: "I moved to Nashville last summer.  I felt like I finally got to be with writers all the time.  Moving here, I was in it, and I was going through something, I had fuel, and fuel is always good.  I wrote 3 to 5 days a week, and wrote almost 80 songs in the last year and a half.  I wrote 20 of the 24 songs on this album. I felt like I grew as a songwriter."

Miranda named the two discs in the album: The Heart & The Nerve. She explained that the inspiration came from her grandma.   She talks all about her family, playing stadiums with Kenny Chesney, sharing the stage with Sam Hunt and the fun she had at the 50th Annual CMA Awards a couple of weeks ago.

Miranda also has great stories this week about Eric Church, Thomas Rhett, Maren Morris, Jason Aldean, Old Dominion, and Dierks Bentley.
