Mindy McCready’s Boyfriend Commits Suicide

Thing's are just getting worse for Mindy McCready.  It's now been reported that her boyfriend, David Wilson, committed suicide.

A rep for Mindy McCready has confirmed the report.  The Cleburne County Arkansas Sheriff's office has said that they responded to David's home on Sunday after receiving a report a self-inflicted gun wound.  David is the father of Mindy's 9 month old son Zayne.  She has another child from a previous relationship, Zander.

Mindy, who had such a promising start in the mid 90's has fallen on hard times since.  Her debut album "Ten Thousand Angels" sold over 2 million copies.  She also toured with Tim McGraw as his opening act.  There were rumors at the time that Tim was interested in Mindy romantically.  She abruptly left as his opening act and Faith Hill replaced her.  Tim and Faith have been together ever since.  She also was once engaged to actor Dean Cain.

It's been downhill since.  There's been reports that she had an affair with pitcher Roger Clemens when she was a teenager.  She also attempted suicide in 2008.  In 2010, she tried to clean up her act on the TV show "Celebrity Rehab 3."  In 2011, she filed a libel suit against her mother. 

This tragedy is just the latest in a long line, of what at one time was a promising career.  David Wilson was 34.
