MHAST says it has suspended group meetings and activities until further notice, including both weekday and weekend programs at the Sunrise Wellness Center and the Compeer and compeer Youth Mentoring activities.

The Mental Health Association will continue to support clients through regular telephone calls and the Peer Support Warm Line available 24-hours a day at (607) 240-7291.

Officials say the short-term Crisis Respite program is still open and could be an option for someone who needs the benefits of a safe, nurturing environment as an alternative to hospitalization.  You can learn more about that program by calling MHAST at (607) 771-8888, extension 350.
