Two people face felony charges after police seized methamphetamine and psychedelic mushrooms from a Broome County home.

Authorities say 33-year-old Matthew Zimmer and 39-year-old Samantha Cyr of the town of Maine were arrested Friday.

Investigators say Zimmer and Cyr were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Police say about two ounces of crystal methamphetamine and five grams of psilocybin mushrooms were found when a search warrant was executed at 120 Walnut Avenue.

About $500 in suspected drug sale proceeds, digital scales and drug packaging materials also were confiscated in the raid.

Zimmer and Cyr were released on appearance tickets. They were ordered to appear in Maine town court at a later date.

The arrests were made by the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force.
