Today, April 29th is World Wish Day and once again Dunkin' and Make-A-Wish Central New York are getting together again to make a difference for kids in our area. Southern Tier Wish Kid Allie Bowen kicks off the Make-A-Wish Star Donut Campaign at the 3000 Vestal Parkway, Vestal location.

This 17-year-old young lady is inviting you to participate and help make dreams come true. You know that you'll be stopping at Dunkin' at some point in the next two weeks, so why not help change the lives of children with critical illnesses in our area.

Star Donut Campaign With Make-A-Wish

If you donate $1 to Make-A-Wish at any participating Southern Tier Dunkin' location, you'll get a special Make-A-Wish donut as a thank you, while supplies last. All proceeds will benefit local Make-A-Wish chapters.

The specialty donut will be available through May 9th at those locations. The Star Donut campaign has raised more than $561,000 for its chapters in Upstate New York since 2013.

What Does Make-A-Wish Do

They continue to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses through a 15 county region of New York State. While COVID-19 stopped the world and limited the ability to grant wishes, it didn't stop kids from getting sick.

The organization has granted over 1,900 wishes since they began this program in 1985. Today there are nearly 200 critically ill children in the 15-county area waiting for their life-changing wish.  Your support is needed now more than ever.
