Magic City Music Hall Comes Back To Binghamton

It's true! The site of the old Grand Union Grocery Store in The Northgate Plaza off Upper Front Street. The site is actually the perfect for the once busy music venue! Lots of parking space, It's a larger occupancy building and will hopefully breathe some life back into plaza that for years has been creeping toward disrepair and mostly unoccupied store fronts!

I've heard that the building has a few issues like leaky ceilings and heaving floors that will have to be repaired before the building will pass inspection and be ready for the public to enter, But rumor has it that the first show is already booked for this new venue! It's REO Speedwagon!

I had the chance to chat with Stu Green, the owner operator of Magic City Productions today at the press conference held at the new location of our favorite music venue.
