Johnson City Police Ask For New Leads in Old Missing Person Case

As family would have celebrated Chester “Chet” Labar’s 40^th birthday Sunday, January 6, the Johnson City Police are asking for the public’s help with their cold case investigation into his disappearance.

Labar was reported missing on October 3, 2016 and he was last seen at the NYPENN Trade Center on Main Street in the Village.

He has his name tattooed on his neck and several other tattoos, is white and stands five-feet, seven inches tall. The police have no information about what clothing he may have been wearing when he went missing.

Detectives say they are still pursuing leads and the investigation is continuing.
