
Missing Endicott Man Found Safe After Several Days in Binghamton
Great news for Joseph Maine's family and the community, he has been found safe after going missing last Saturday, April 19, 2025.
The Endicott man was located in Binghamton on Thursday, April 24, 2025, and has since been interviewed by the Broome County Sheriff's Office.
What Happened?
Joseph, 48, left his home on the evening of Saturday, April 19, and was last seen around 8:30 p.m. on North McKinley Avenue in the Town of Union.
When he didn’t return home, his family became worried and contacted authorities. The search for him began quickly as law enforcement worked to track down his whereabouts.
Where Was He Found?
It wasn’t until Thursday morning that law enforcement discovered Joseph had been staying at a friend’s place in Binghamton. He hadn’t contacted his family during this time, which only increased the concern. When officers found him, he was safe and agreed to go to UHS Wilson Hospital for an evaluation.

With Joseph safe, both his family and the local community can finally breathe easy. After days of uncertainty, the news brings comfort to those who were anxiously awaiting updates. His family is grateful to know he is now getting the care he needs.
