Jack Nicklaus Will Be at the Dick’s Sporting Goods Open
Jack Nicklaus, The Golden Bear, arguably the best golfer ever, will make an appearance at this year's Dick's Sporting Goods Open at En-Joie Golf Club in Endicott.
Nicholas will not be playing in the tournament, however, he will be the host of the UHS Golf Expo. Jack's appearance will feature him telling stories of his Hall of Fame career and there will be a question and answer period as well.
Over the last few years, this event was hosted by Nancy Lopez, and last year, Anika Sorensen was the guest host.
The UHS Golf Expo is usually set up next to the 18th Green. It will be held on Wednesday, August 14th. after the first round of the Pro-Am is completed.
According to the PGA Tour website, Nicklaus has won 73 PGA Tournaments, 20 International Victories, 10 PGA Champions Tour Victories, and 19 additional victories.
The UHS Golf Expo is a free event, but organizers are suggesting a $5 donation be made at the gate with the proceeds to benefit the Non-profit organization that Jack and his wife run to help sick children.
