Original Story:
Happy Holidays! I hope you are enjoying this time of the year with family and friends.

During the holiday season, our little corner of the world offers so many things to see and do. Maybe you attended a school holiday play or holiday concert at one of our venues, like the Broome County Forum.

Have you taken a ride around our many neighborhoods to check out some amazing residential holiday light displays? Or maybe you spent some time wandering through the Roberson Museum, to admire the many trees decorated by local organizations for the annual Home for the Holidays display. By the way, it will be on display through January 9, 2026.

How about the amazing Broome County Festival of Lights at Otsiningo Park in Binghamton? I took a drive through this annual light display recently, and it is well worth a visit. Maybe you have already done so as well.

Well, how about another trip back? Next week, the Broome County Festival of Lights organizers announced that Friday and Saturday, January 2nd & 3rd, the festival will take on a Spiedie Fest-like atmosphere.

In addition to enjoying the 2 million dazzling light show, this two-day event will feature a hot air balloon night glow, a spiedie vendor on site to enjoy our local delicacy (for purchase), live music, and free face painting for the kids.
