I honestly don’t mind doing laundry. I love the smell of freshly washed clothes and a warm towel when you get out of the shower. That being said, I try and get as many uses out of my jeans as I can.

The fashion experts have said you should never wash denim. I find this insane, but Zac Brown Band made millions of a song about “jeans that fit just right,” so maybe the experts are on to something.

I own about 3-4 pairs of jeans. Some fit well, others can be a little snug. I can’t imagine breaking in jeans everyday after you wash them, so I try and do it once a week. Call me crazy, call me gross, but they fit better after a few days of wear.

I hate the feeling of stiff jeans when I’m going out somewhere. I want to be comfortable but still look presentable. Let me cover my bases here. I do not wear smelly jeans around all the time. If I know my denim is getting a little funky I will wash them. But in the end jeans just feel better when they have a little age to them.

I also have a trick of freezing my jeans. If you out your jeans in a ziplock or plastic bag and put them in the freezer for a day or two, they feel fresh and brand new. You can also do this with shoes!

Do you have any tricks like this, or am I just a mad man?!
