Hobby Farmers in Southern Tier Get Help to Make Farm Dreams Real

Casual “Old MacDonalds” can get some help turning their farming hobby into a real small business.

Cornell Cooperative Extension is offering a four-part online workshop on “exploring the small farm dream.”

The sessions will go over what it takes to start and manage a farm and cover a four-step decision-making process.

The fee is $50 per farm or family including two registrations.  The workshop is free for Veterans engaged in agriculture.

Pre-registration is required.
