When you shampoo, concentrate on cleaning the scalp instead of the entire length of the hair. If you only wash the hair, it can make for flyaway hair that is dull and rough. When using a conditioner, the recommendation is different.

Conditioners should only be used on the tips of the hair and not on the scalp or the length of the hair because conditioners can make fine hair look limp.

Ways To Healthy Hair

Wash oily hair more frequently - How often you wash your hair could depend on how oily your hair is. If you have an oily scalp, you might have to was it once a day. If you have chemically-treated hair, your hair could be drier so wash it less often.

If you see flakes in your hair, you might not be shampooing enough. If your not careful, it could lead to other scalp disease.

Use the right conditioner - You should put conditioner every time that you shampoo your hair or use a "2-in-1" shampoo. Conditioner can improve the look of damaged hair by increasing it's shine.

This will also decrease static electricity while improving the strength and giving your hair some protection from UV rays.

Know your hair type - Choose a shampoo and conditioner that is specific to your hair type. If you color your hair, use a shampoo that is made for color-treated hair. I found out the hard way when I used color-treated shampoo and my hair felt like Krusty the clown.

Protect your hair when swimming - Protect your hair from chlorine by wetting and conditioning your hair before swimming. Use specially formulated swimmer's shampoo and deep conditioner after you swim to replace the lost moisture.

I've been told that shampoo and conditioner brands give you the same benefits, no matter the cost. However, if your looking for shampoo price advice from me, then your on your own.
