The pandemic has hit some of the most iconic annual events we look forward to each year, and among those is the Girl Scout Cookie Drive.

The GSNYPENN council is looking to reach out to communities, and businesses in areas of higher populations, with open space that would be available, and willing to let girl scouts, and their troop leaders safely host a drive-thru like cookie booth.

Troops are also in need of safe indoor locations, to host the drives and store product.

The organization is setting a target date of February to begin these drives with socially distance protocols put into place.

The cookie drive runs through the end of March.

The Girl Scouts of  NYPENN pathways, include Girls in grades K through 12th, and serves 26 counties in New York and Northern Pennsylvania.

An business participating in assisting the GSNYPENN council have their location noted on the organizations  Face Book Page, the official Girl Scout Cookie Finder app, and any advertising the council places during the drive.

If you are a business, or know  of some that would be willing to help and can help, contact Ray Mulno  by e mail rmulno@gsnypenn.org or 315-698-9400 x2022
