Maybe you’re like me and you told yourself that this was the year you were going to get into shape, but then life happened and things didn’t go exactly as planned, right? Well, guess what? The year is still young and there’s still time to get your health where it needs to be.

I don't know if you've heard, but March is National Nutrition Month and to help with the motivation you’re looking for, Binghamton University will host its 13th annual Health Fair from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. this Wednesday, March 13th in the Recreation Center, East Gym, on the Binghamton University campus. The Health Fair is completely free and open to the public.

At the Health Fair, you'll have the opportunity to visit with more than 60 community businesses and non-profit organizations as well as food vendors. The focus of the Health Fair this year is “Flex your Gratitude Muscle!" You'll have the chance to learn some exercises that will "help you practice gratitude and become more resilient."

You'll also be able to take advantage of free health screenings, tours, fitness demos, and more.

Cindy Cowden, senior associate director for campus recreation and chair of B-Healthy: the Healthy Campus Initiative said in a press release,

“The Health Fair is a great community event that offers a comprehensive look at wellness and what it means to live a balanced lifestyle, both on campus and off. We look forward to our continued partnership with both Binghamton University Dining Services and our community partners.”

You'll find a complete schedule of events here.
