    Eating Late at Night

    I'm so guilty of this because late night is usually the only time my little guy sleeps and life slows down enough for me to grab a meal. Eating right before crawling into bed actually does a whole lot more harm to your body than it would if you ate just a few hours earlier. When you eat before bed, you're putting yourself at a higher risk for acid reflux and unwanted weight gain.

    Ignoring Your Teeth

    Sure, it can be expensive and sometimes scary to go to the dentist, but when you think about the alternative, it's not as freaky. Gum disease is serious business, affecting up to half of all adults over the age of 30 and has been linked to an array of health problems like diabetes, heart disease, and stroke.  The solution to helping to prevent all of those things is regular cleanings.

    Googling Your Symptoms

    Do you jump online to Google every aliment that hits you? Well, you might want to not do that because looking up your symptoms can lead to anxiety and even misdiagnosis. If you're sick, you should just go to the doctor.

    Wearing Flip Flops

    I know, I hate this one too because I live in flip flops during the summer. But if you just have to wear sandals all the time, you should splurge and get a pair (or two) of cute ones that have some sport of support because you're not doing your back, knees and body in general any favors by wearing flip flops that have no support.
