It was a tale of two teams on October 11 as the Chenango Forks Blue Devils faced off against the Johnson City Wildcats. The Blue Devils came into this game with an impressive 5-0 record, while the Wildcats were the exact opposite at 0-5 looking to get their first victory of the season.

It was all Chenango Forks in the first half. Opening possession for the Blue Devils, Ethan Brown scored a quick six. Extra point converted made it an early 7-0 lead with 10:49 left in the first quarter. First possession for the Wildcats resulted in an interception that led to a 13-yard run from Lucas Scott for another score. Another good extra point and the lead was 14-0.

More from the Blue Devils defense came halfway through the first as Ryan Joseph gets a pick-six with the 35-yard return. Moving on to the second, the first play of the quarter for Forks was a seven-yard touchdown pass to Matt Paske. A converted extra point made it 27-0. Paske would score once again, this time a 35-yard reception for another six points. PAT was good making it 34-0. Lastly, Scott got loose for an eight-yard run for one last touchdown tallied for the Forks. A missed extra point still managed to grow the lead to 40-0 at the half.

The second half was more of the same as the Blue Devils picked up right where they left off. Joseph from 29 yards out kicks it through the upright for the field goal. With 5:50 remaining in the third, it was 43-0 Chenango Forks still on top.

In the fourth, Quincy Robinson managed to score on a two-yard run for JC to put them on the board. The extra point was no good, making it 43-6. Jaiden Johns also scored a touchdown for the Wildcats from eight-yards out. Once again the extra point was missed, so it was a 43-12 ballgame.

Chenango Forks won by a final score of 43-12 to remain undefeated at 6-0. Unfortunately, the Wildcats of Johnson City remain winless as they fall to 0-6 on the year.
