An Apple Smart Watch was on my Christmas and birthday gift wish list this year.  Oh well, there's always next year.  Fitness trackers are very popular in the Binghamton area.  In addition to helping you lose weight and get fit, you can add a new benefit to these popular watch bands.  It appears they are helping law enforcement solve litigation cases.

These devices can be added to a list of technology used to solve crimes.  According to the New York Daily News, these devices are able to be used in court rooms across the country as evidence.  The article describes these arm devices, as "the human body's black boxes."

Used to trace steps, sleeping habits and locations of other GPS devices, it's only natural that this information would eventually be introduced to police and in court rooms to help solve cases if needed.
