Empower a St. Jude Kid to Continue Fighting by Sending a Virtual Halloween Card
The love and passion that I have in my heart for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and its precious patients transcends words.
My involvement with St.Jude Children's Research Hospital began in the winter of 2018 when I was invited to visit the hospital, located in Memphis, Tennessee. I'd heard about the wonders of St. Jude, but nothing could have prepared me for what I was about to walk into.
There are very sick kids who are in very sad situations at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and yet the hospital is filled with hope and joy and promise and as I type that, I realize that it might be impossible to imagine it being true but I promise you that it is.
While parents around the world are trying to figure out how to celebrate Halloween with their children in the middle of a pandemic, the parents with children at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are simply happy that their babies are alive to see another holiday.
The children at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are true warriors but even warriors need some encouragement every once in a while. So, this Halloween, I would like to invite you to let a child at St. Jude know that they are loved and that they are ferocious fighters by sending them a virtual Halloween card.
If you would like to send a virtual card (or maybe even a dozen) all you need to do is visit this link, pick out a Halloween-themed card (and yes, that artwork was inspired by an actual St. Jude kid!) and then hit submit. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will make sure that your card gets into the hands of a St. Jude family in time for Halloween on Saturday.
