Did You Feel Sunday’s Earthquake in Upstate New York?
If you felt a little shake during the afternoon hours of Sunday, April 24 but thought that it was just your imagination, it wasn't.

A relatively minor 3.6 magnitude earthquake shook some parts of upstate New York on Sunday afternoon.
According to the United States Geological Survey, the earthquake struck at 2:10 p.m. and the epicenter of the earthquake was about 10 miles south of Watertown which is only 30 miles from the Canadian border.
The earthquake could be felt for more than one hundred miles including neighboring Ontario, Canada, south past Syracuse, and even 140 miles away from the epicenter in Albany.
At this time, there are still no reports of any injuries or significant damage. According to the United States Geological Survey, significant damage and casualties aren't usually experienced unless the earthquake magnitude is 5.5 or higher.
