Lisle Fire Company Spaghetti Dinner Set for September 11

A plate of spaghetti might seem simple, but sometimes the simplest things bring an entire community together.

The Lisle Fire Company Auxiliary is hosting a spaghetti dinner on Friday, September 11, to remember fallen firefighters and thank the first responders who continue showing up for their neighbors whenever they are needed.

And when you think about everything first responders are asked to walk into while the rest of us are being told to get out, taking an evening to sit down together and say thank you feels like the very least we can do.

When Is the Lisle Fire Company Spaghetti Dinner?

The Lisle Fire Company spaghetti dinner will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026, at the Lisle Fire Station.

The station is located at 9090 Main Street in Lisle. Everyone is welcome, whether you live right in Lisle or simply want to enjoy a good meal while showing your appreciation for local first responders.

What Is Being Served at the Lisle Spaghetti Dinner?

The meal includes spaghetti and meatballs, bread, salad, dessert, and a drink.

Basically, it is a full dinner without having to plan it, cook it, or stare into the refrigerator hoping something will magically turn itself into a meal. That alone might be worth the trip.

How Much Does the Lisle Fire Company Dinner Cost?

Dinner is $8 for adults and $2 for children ages 6 through 10. Children ages 5 and younger eat free.

That makes the Lisle spaghetti dinner an affordable way for families to eat together while supporting a community event with an important purpose.

Is the Lisle Spaghetti Dinner Eat-In or Takeout?

Guests can sit down and enjoy their meal at the fire station or order dinner to take home.

First responders show up on the worst days of people’s lives. They leave their own families, get out of bed in the middle of the night, and run toward situations most of us would instinctively run away from.

A spaghetti dinner cannot repay all of that, but it can bring neighbors together, create a place for remembrance, and remind local first responders that their work does not go unnoticed.
