Dunkin’ Donates to Southern Tier Frontline Healthcare Workers
You've heard us say so many times that "the Hawk Morning Show runs on Dunkin' and you should be running to Dunkin' as well." We love our Dunkin' but we love this even more.
Dunkin' donated $10,000 in gift cards to Southern Tier frontline healthcare workers and volunteers. This is just a part of their commitment to give back $62,500 to essential workers throughout New York State.
The healthcare facilities include $5,000 for the UHS Foundation, $2,500 for Arnot Health, and the Food Bank of the Southern Tier will get $2,500 in Dunkin' gift cards for its volunteers. They also donated around 250 pounds of coffee to these organizations.
The great thing is that this isn't the first time that Dunkin' has helped out our frontline workers and I'm sure it's not the last. Last August, celebrated "Iced Coffee Day" by giving back to the community.
$1 from every iced cup of coffee sold during their one-day event would benefit the UHS Foundation. In September, they were able to give them a check for over $8,000. Since mid-March, Dunkin' has donated thousands of baked goods, pounds of coffee, and gift cards to first responders, nurses, food bank employees, and child care staff.
I really don't need a reason to run to Dunkin' but it makes me proud to know that a place I support does so much to support our frontline workers and healthcare facilities.
