Downtown Ithaca Chili Cook Off to Attract Thousands

The 18th Annual Great Downtown Ithaca Chili Cook-off will take place Saturday, February 6th, from 11:30am-4:00pm. Chili Cook-off features chili prepared by approximately 30 restaurants as they compete for the titles of Best Meat/Overall Chili, Best Vegetarian, and People's Choice Chili. In addition to Chili, there are other Chili related food items.

Last year, over 15,000 Chili lovers came out for this tasty event.  This year's Chili Cook-off will feature a farmers market with vendors and local wineries, breweries, and farmer's sampling their goods. All activities will take place on the Ithaca Commons and surrounding streets.

You can pick up VIP and regular tickets the day of the event or to avoid long lines, advance tickets go on sale February 1st at the Downtown Visitors Center or by calling (607) 277-8679 weekdays.
