Donnie Wahlberg’s Got The Right Stuff for Jenny McCarthy

New Kids on the Block. Sigh. Yes, I’m that grown adult woman who still smiles when I think of NKOTB. I didn’t have any of their posters or bed sheets or Trapper Keepers because my mom wouldn’t let me, but that didn’t stop me from loving them. Specifically Jonathan Knight.

My friends always made fun of me because I liked quiet, shy and polite Jonathan. Not them. They all loved Donnie Wahlberg. He was the “bad boy” of the group and I think they liked the sense of thrill that surrounded him.

Apparently Jenny McCarthy likes that sense of thrill too because she announced on yesterday’s “The View” that she and Donnie are engaged and then proceeded to show off a huge yellow sapphire ring. Donnie even included Jenny’s son in his proposal. Super sweet!

This will be Jenny’s second marriage. Her first marriage was to her manager, Ray Manzella, father of her son Evan. Jenny was also linked for several years to Jim Carrey, although the two didn’t walk down the aisle.

This will also be the second marriage for Donnie who was married to Kim Fey from 1999 to 2008. Together, Donnie and Kim have two children, Xavier and Elijah.
