We know that the PGA Tour has given millions to charities throughout the years. The DICK'S Sporting Goods Open itself has given millions to local charities.

DICK'S Sporting Goods also has it's own foundation that supports the area as well.

Today (6/13) The DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation announced a $25,000 Sports Matter grant to help the Union-Endicott Central School District’s Athletic Department at Charles F. Johnson Jr. Elementary School.

After the check was presented, last year's winner of the DSG Open Jeff Maggert worked on golf skills with the elementary students during their gym class.

DICK’S Sporting Goods and The DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation started it's own Sports Matter initiative. The program has pledged over $50 million since 2014 to help teams and raise awareness of the importance of youth sports across the country.
