Delaware County Sex Offender Sentenced for Porn on Illegal Cell Phone
A Delaware County man has more time in federal prison ahead after prosecutors say he used a cell phone he wasn’t supposed to have as a sex offender to upload more child pornography.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says 26-year-old Daniel Miller has been sentenced to 17-and-a-half years in federal prison after pleading guilty earlier this year of transportation of child pornography.
Miller had been convicted in 2014 for possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child and in 2017 for felony sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
Authorities say Miller admitted that, while on probation for those prior convictions where he was not supposed to have a cell phone, he uploaded images and videos of child pornography to his Dropbox account.
In addition to the prison time, Miller is to be on probation for 15 years once he is released from prison and is required to register as a sex offender.
