Delaware County Men Accused of Stealing and Selling Catalytic Converters

New York State Police accuse two Delaware County men of stealing catalytic converters from an Otsego County business.

Authorities say 26-year-old Shawn Campbell of Delhi worked for Wahl to Wahl Auto in Middlefield where several catalytic converters went missing. 29-year-old Jesse Stefanelli of Bovina is also accused but was not employed by the shop.

Investigators say the men are accused of taking the parts over the course of several months and selling them.

Campbell and Stefanelli are charged with grand larceny.

The pair will appear in Town of Middlefield Court April 1.
