During the winter of 2018, I went on a trip that would impact me in ways that I could never have fathomed and it lit a fire in my heart to do even more to help sick kids.

My trip took me to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee where I got to walk the hall of the world-famous facility and learn more about the mission of the organization and exactly how they help very sick kids. I think we’ve all heard about St. Jude Kids, but getting to see where they’re treated and then meeting some of the kids just really solidified in my soul that it would be, from that point forward, my mission to help raise funds however I was able.

That same feeling I felt swept over Darius Rucker who is also a major supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. As a matter of fact, now in its 11th year, an event that Darius Rucker created has raised more than $2 million dollars for St. Jude Kids, and this year, the event has the potential to raise even more because it's being taken worldwide as a virtual concert.

For the last decade, Darius Rucker has been helping to bring healing to incredibly sick kids with his Darius and Friends concerts featuring guest artists such as Brad Paisley, Sheryl Crow, and Kenny Rogers. This year the Darius and Friends concert will feature Clint Black and Tracy Lawrence.

The Darius and Friends concert will be held on the Grand Ole Opry stage on Thursday, July 30 at 8:00 p.m. but you’ll be able to enjoy the show from the comfort of your couch through a special pay-per-view live stream.

Even though we can’t all get together for a normal concert right now, it’s important that we continue to support St. Jude and the amazing work that they do,” Rucker said in a statement.I hope we can bring a fun night of music to everyone watching from home while also raising money for this important cause.

Tickets to watch this very special LiveXLive live stream concert are now on sale and can be bought for $15 (general admission), $50 (general admission and a limited editionHatch Print event poster), or $100 (for general admission and a limited edition Hatch Print event poster autographed by Darius Rucker).
