Broome County Public Library to Host Poetry Workshops

If you're looking for something fun and educational to do with the kids, the Broome County Public Library will host the Binghamton Poetry Project, a five-week poetry workshop for kids and adults.

The Binghamton Poetry Project begins on Monday March 10th and will be lead by creative writing instructors from Binghamton University. Workshop sessions will take place at 5:30pm on the following Mondays: March 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st and April 7th.

During the workshop sessions, you'll read poetry, both published and written by participants, learn poetic techniques and about different kinds of poetry, share your work with others and have fun with language and writing.
