Things are looking up for the Binghamton Senators. They had an exciting  4-3 overtime win against the Syracuse Crunch. They've won 6 of their last 7 at home.

Here's more good news. It looks like the B-Sens aren't leaving anytime soon.

Before last night's game, the announcement was made that the Binghamton Senators will be here through at least the 2018-2019.

The B-Sens reached an agreement with Broome County to have their home games played at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena. The lease agreement with the county now aligns with the Binghamton Senators current affiliation agreement with the Ottawa Senators.

The Floyd L. Maines, formally known as the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena has been the home for the Binghamton Senators since their inception into the AHL in 2002.

The Arena was build in 1972 and has hosted the Broome Dusters (1973-1977), Binghamton Whalers (1980-1990), Binghamton Rangers (1990-1997) and the B.C. Icemen (1997-2002).

The Senators play at home again on Saturday against Rochester. It's Scout Night and the Broome Sports Foundation post-game jersey auction.

Face-off is at 7:05 and I'll be doing Chuck-a-Puck between the 2nd and 3rd period. LET'S GO SENS!
