Oh what a year it's been for the Binghamton Black Bears and they aren't done yet. In fact they did something that hasn't happened in over 10 years. When the Black Bears skated past the Watertown Wolves on Saturday night, they advanced to the Commissioner's Cup semifinals.

Binghamton Black Bears Advance To The Second Round For The First Time

The Black Bears were the first hockey team in Binghamton to advance to the second round of the playoffs since 2011 when the Binghamton Senators won the Calder Cup. In only their second year in existence, they get their first playoff series victory and will advance to the next round against their hated rival.

The road to the championship continues on Friday, April 28th when the Danbury Hat Tricks come to town. It's the match-up that every Binghamton Black Bear fan has been looking forward to and it's going to be off the hook.

Some people call the Syracuse University JMA Wireless Dome, the Loud House. I have a feeling that it'll be given its run for the money on Friday night at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena.

Free Hockey Ticket To The Binghamton/Danbury Game

After the Black Bears win game one, they'll travel to Danbury to take on the Hat Tricks on Saturday, April 28th. and you can get a free ticket to that game. Black Bears owner Andreas Johansson wants to give you a free ticket to the Danbury game.

Get your black and green on and get to the game on Friday night beginning at 7 p.m. LET'S GO BLACK BEARS!!!
