Road Construction Projects in the Binghamton Area

Memorial Day is fast approaching and many people are starting to make their holiday weekend travel plans. There are many road construction projects going on in the area to take into consideration when mapping out your weekend trips. I-88

• Both directions between Exit 12 - Connector and Exit 13 - NY 205. Alternate lanes are closed for paving and rehabilitation work that started in March and continues through 11/30/16.
• Both directions on CR 48 at I-88. Alternate lanes are closed for bridge rehabilitation and there is a temporary signal. Construction began at the end of April and continues through 7/29/16.

NY 17

• Both directions between Exit 4N-4S - I-81 and Exit 69 - NY 17C. Alternate lanes closed for sweeping operations, although work is dependent on the weather. The project started in Mid-May and continues through 5/31/16.
• Both directions between Exit 63 - CR 54 and Exit 64 - NY 96. Alternate lanes are closed for paving, striping, and signage. Work began in early May and continues through 6/1/16.

NY 201

• Both directions between NY 17 to Harry L Drive. Alternate lanes closed for sweeping operations. Work began in Mid-May and continues through 5/31/16, it is dependent on the weather.
