The Binghamton Senators are playing Sunday on Family Night. However they are not the only Senators in action this weekend.

The Binghamton Jr. Senators are wrapping up their regular season at the Ice House Sports Complex in Chenango Bridge this weekend before getting ready for the playoffs.

If you're going to GPS it, it's 614 River Road, Binghamton. They are coached by Chris Laganiere along with his dad, Piere. That's right, Binghamton Hall of Fame hockey player, Piere Laganiere.

They play Saturday night at 7:30 and Sunday morning at 11:30. Saturday's game is a benefit game for Derrick Wruble who was the captain of the team last year. Derrick was paralyzed in a car accident earlier this year.

He is supposed to be at the game and alll of the proceeds of the game will go towards him and his family to cover medical and rehab costs.

The team has secured first place in the Eastern Conference and will be hosting the opening game of the playoff series at the Ice House. The first game is Friday night, March 17th at 7pm.

Don't forget to nominate the Ice House Sports Complex in the Hockeyville USA contest. They could win $150,000 in renovations and host a NHL preseason game. HOW AWESOME WOULD THAT BE!!!
