2021 got off to a rough start and it looked like it might be a continuation from 2020. So when we get good news, I love to share, especially if it's about basketball. On Friday, January 22nd, we were all very pleasantly surprised when we found out that "high-risk" sports in New York could start up again on February 1st.

Then on Monday, January 25th, we found out that the Binghamton Bulldogs would begin play at the end of February. The Bulldogs are a minor league organization (think Binghamton Rumble Ponies) that has been a member of the American Basketball Association (ABA) since 2017.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, they'll play a modified 10-game schedule beginning on February 27th against the Philly Stunnaz. Their home games will be played at the Southern Tier Community Center, 1 Clubhouse Road in Endicott.

Fans haven't been cleared in New York State yet, but that's not going to stop them. You can see all the Bulldog's home games through their live stream. We were surprised when we heard that "high-risk" sports in NYS would start back up, so who knows, by the time the end of February rolls around, spectators may be allowed back in the stands.

The good news is that 8 of their 10 games will be at home, so maybe we'll have a chance to howl at the Dawg Pound before the season is over. Go here to see their entire schedule and to keep up with any changes.

LET'S GO DAWGS!!!
