Benefit Planned to Help Sick Little Meadows Girl

Our sweet friend Madigan Gow of Little Meadows, PA was diagnosed with progressive congenital scoliosis (basically, her spine is caving in) on December 22, 2006- just a few days before Christmas and her first birthday.

Madigan has traveled down a rough road and time and time again, you’ve shown love to this little angel. Do you remember a few years ago when we asked for your help in collecting Valentines for Madigan? You came through in a big way and put a huge smile on a very sick little girl’s face.

Madigan is a little fighter if ever there were one. She’s had 17 surgeries in her short life. Her most recent was to remove a large portion of her right hip due to a bracket left in from her VEPTR (like growing rods) and to place new rods in.

As you can imagine, with 17 surgeries, there are many medical needs for Madigan that Insurance will not cover so her friends are once again asking for help.

On Saturday, June 13th from 2pm-6p, a benefit will be held at the Choconut Inn Entertainment Complex in Friendsville. You’ll be able to enjoy a ziti dinner, chicken bbq, hot dogs and a bake sale. There wilk also be a magic show performed by Ronald McDonald himself as well as lots of other activities for the kids and even a basket raffle for you!
