Another Store Closing: Dressbarn in Vestal Will Shut Down

The Dressbarn store on the Vestal Parkway will be closing soon as the company winds down its operations across the United States.

Dressbarn on Monday announced plans to shut down all of its 650 stores.

The store at The Shoppes at Vestal retail complex has been open for more than 15 years.

It's not known how many people work at the Vestal Parkway store. The company has about 6,800 employees. A sign posted in the entrance to the Vestal store Tuesday indicated the business was hiring.

In its announcement, Dressbarn said it will "eventually be closing" all stores but no target date was announced.

The company said there are no changes to its return, refund, or gift card policies or our loyalty rewards programs.
