An Open Letter to Our Hawk Morning Show Listeners
Just like you, Glenn and I have spouses and kids and loved ones that we want to keep safe in the midst of the uncertainty surrounding our world these days, but we also feel a great sense of need to keep YOU and YOUR families safe, no matter what may come because we're all in this together.
Glenn and I want you to know that we are here for you. We are taking measures to keep ourselves healthy and we will continue to do everything in our power to bring you some laughs to break up the seriousness of all that's going on while also giving you informed and sourced local and national updates. There's so much floating around everywhere and it can be hard to know what's true, what's false, and what's a scam or a hoax. Our promise to you is to give you what we know (to the best of our abilities) to be the truth.
Glenn and I will continue to commute to the 98.1 The Hawk studio in downtown Binghamton to bring the Hawk Morning Show to you each weekday morning unless something out of our control prevents that. Should a less than desirable situation arise, we are both set up to take turns delivering our show to you from our respective homes.
Glenn and I often joke that our five hours together each weekday is the easiest part of our day and the other 19 hours are the hard ones, but the truth is that we aren't kidding. The five hours each weekday that we get to spend together and with you are our escape from daily life. You have been with us through our personal highs and lows and we will be there for you because you have become more than just an incredible community of listeners, you have become family.
Glenn and I both attend Bridgewater Church campuses. Glenn goes to the Conklin campus while I attending the Vestal campus and if you're looking for peace in the midst of this anxious time, I would encourage you to watch this video that my pastor at the Vestal campus shared.
Thank you for being so loyal to us, for trusting us, and for welcoming us into your lives. May you find peace and may you be well.
