In this midst of the horror of the tragic tornado that destroyed Moore, Oklahoma, comes a story of survival via neighbors looking out for neighbors.

94 year old Nancy Davis lost her home to the tornado on Monday, 14 years after she lost it a first time to a 1999 tornado. And it might just be because of that tornado in 1999 that lives were saved on Monday.

Following the 1999 storm that left 36 of her neighbors dead, Nancy received money from the federal government to build a shelter.

When the tornado warnings came this time, Nancy grabbed her neighbors and took cover in the shelter she built after the 1999 storm.

Nancy's life was saved as were the lives of 5 of her neighbors including a pregnant woman and a two year old boy.
