5 Reasons to Love Binghamton Restaurant Week
Binghamton Restaurant Week only comes twice a year and is hailed by food lovers, students and families that love good food alike. The event has grown every year and this year, there are a record number of restaurants participating and bringing many first time Binghamton restaurant-goers to our downtown area.
Food lovers can bite into their favorite Binghamton restaurants at a fixed price for 10 days, April 5-14th. There's a nice variety of restaurants on the map within downtown and outside of downtown city limits.
There are a number of new restaurants in the mix this year, which is always a good thing because Binghamton has so many great dining options. It's a showcase of good food and you blend that with good friends and family, and a good price for 3 course meal, you can't go wrong.
Here are the 5 reasons I look forward to Binghamton Restaurant Week:
- Amazing Food. It lets me taste all the new food Binghamton has to offer. With so many returning favorites and new restaurant options, it's going to be a touch decision for lunch and dinner
- Support Local. The chain restaurants are pretty much all the same and always predictable. Local means fresh, new and interesting. And local stays here in the community.
- Helping Local Charities. This year, the Handicapped Children's Association and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Binghamton will be supported by the event. Hey, you have to eat, so why not help a needy charity at the same time.
- Easy Planning. They have a great looking new web site EatBing.com that lets you look at the menu before you go. This will help you decide where to go for lunch and dinner this week.
- More Visitors to Binghamton. Restaurants have really changed the downtown Binghamton landscape. People love good food and that brings people to Binghamton. I like that!
