When a man gets sick, you can be sure the whole world knows. A sick woman will cram some tissues up her nose while she gets the kids up and dressed, breakfast made, lunches packed and then heads to work herself. Guys? They tend to confine themselves to their bed and moan and groan so loudly the neighbors three doors down can hear them. An exaggeration? Nope. Man flu is a legit thing. At least according to Harvard.

A study out of Harvard says guys actually do get sick more often than women because they don't have the same sex hormones that we ladies have which boost our immune systems.

Researchers say a lack of estrogen makes guys more likely to come down with pneumonia and other respiratory diseases. Notice I said "more likely," but I didn't read anything that said when they do get these things it's worse than when women get them.

What's interesting is that a cure could be a simple dose of estrogen. Estrogen could clear up serious lung infections, as well as improve the chances of not catching other bugs.
