Weekend Fall Festivals in the Greater Binghamton Area

While most of the East coast will experience a wet weekend, the Greater Binghamton area will enjoy a partly-to-mostly sunny weekend.  Hey, this is the Southern Tier and knowing that the weather could always change, check the latest weather HERE.  As of this writing, it looks like a good weekend to enjoy a nearby Fall Festival.

Country Wagon Produce on Rt. 26 in Maine has their popular family-friendly Fall Festival this Saturday from 9am-5pm.  The price is right too.  Free events include:  wagon rides, fantasy face painting, a bounce house, Alpaca fantasy world animals and an opportunity to feed the animals.  If you're hungry, there will a big 'ole fall picnic with a pork barbecue, salt potatoes, sausage, chili and a variety of sweets for sale. Class Act Air will be there with helicopter rides, weather permitting.

Beautiful Candor, New York's Fall Festival is a 3-day event, sponsored by the Candor Chamber of Commerce.  Kicking off today, the event will mix quilts, wine-tasting, wood carvings, baked goods, tours, yard sales and a popular scarecrow contest.  Iron Kettle Farm will have a spooktacular display.

Do what I do and go to both.  You can't ask for better weather.  Whatever you do, have a fun and relaxing weekend.
