The Most Expensive Christmas Decorations of All Time
People spend ridiculous amounts of money on Christmas gifts, but I think that spending is justified in a way because giving gifts is fun. But on the other hand, there's some spending- even at Christmas- that's a tad over the top.
Here are three of the the most expensive Christmas decorations ever. And yes, these really are real things.
The $900,000 Christmas Star – I mean, come on. Why top your tree with a plastic tinsel star when you can put 280 diamonds up there?
The $4,800 Snow Globe – For a little less than five grand, you get a miniature model of your own family, sculpted on a bed of fluffy diamond "snow."
The $35,000 Christmas Pudding – A chef at a fancy restaurant in England created the "Most Precious Christmas Pudding" and soaked it in expensive cognac. Divided into 12 portions, that's about $3,000 a slice.
Unbelievable, right? Excuse me while I go look at my Christmas tree decorated in homemade Christmas ornaments that hold incredible, lifelong memories.
