One of the highlights of visiting the Roberson Museum and Science Center on Front Street in Binghamton is seeing the magnificent architecture and taking in the history of the Roberson Mansion.  But did you know Binghamton's most famous mansion is haunted?

Built in 1904, the Roberson Mansion was constructed by Alonzo Roberson, Jr. and his family.  When Alonzo Jr. died in 1934, he kindly left the mansion as a gift to the Greater Binghamton area.  But did Alonzo ever leave the museum?  Many visitors have left the museum after reports of being followed, unexplained strange noises and even seeing Alonzo on the museum elevator. Spooky.

You should plan a stop at the historic Roberson Mansion and see for yourself.  The Mansion is open to visitors Wednesday through Sunday except on major holidays and the first two weeks of January.
