I probably do laundry 2-3 times per week. I like to have my clothes smelling like a meadow and as soft as they can be. I am also continually running out of socks, so the constant stream of laundry is needed.

I am a fan of the Tide Pods mostly because they are easily transported and there is no threat of using too much detergent. Plus, the fabric softener is already built in. in conclusion, they are great for a lazy guy like me.

I don’t usually leave my laundry supplies in the communal laundry room, but a few weeks I decided it was ok. To my shock someone used my laundry stuff!

Everyone seemed to leave their detergent, dryer sheets, etc. in the laundry room, and the landlord said no one will touch your stuff. I assumed the unwritten rule of don’t use my detergent would stay in place for me.

I was wrong.

Someone went ahead and used 5-8 of my Tide Pods. 5-8! That’s and obnoxious amount of clean clothes. Had this person not done wash in years?

After the smoke from ears had subsided, I realized I may have been asking to be robbed. I did leave my laundry supplies in the laundry room like everyone else, but maybe that was the wrong decision?

Then again, I was told by the landlord that “everyone did it.” I can hear in the back of my head “if everyone jumped off a bridge, would you?”

Was a wrong to assume my Tide Pods would be safe? Am I wrong about being mad?

I just like mike clothes clean (insert sad face emoji).
