I remember as a kid reading about how we will be shopping from home and on computers.  I couldn't grasp the concept of shopping from home, not having to get in to my car, parking, fighting the crowds, and standing in line?

Then came the endless string of TV shopping channels and on-line retailers like Amazon and Overstock.  Then it seemed the shopping landscape was changing forever.

I'm the kind of person that likes to support local stores over chains, so when I do buy on line, it has to be something really amazing.  It seems like every couple of months, there is some new pop up that gets a lot of attention.  It appeals to a niche audience and that's who is eating it up, so to speak.
